The S60 devices where always great phones, and extremely popular. However I wasn't impressed much at all by Symbian ^3 aka touch-screen Symbian, when I tried the N8 in a store.

IMO the best thing Nokia can do now is quickly adopt Android and dump Symbian ^3. Although that maybe too late. EDIT:- Then again Nokia might well start doing Windows Phone 7 handsets.
