The S60 devices where always great phones, and extremely popular. However I wasn't impressed much at all by Symbian ^3 aka touch-screen Symbian, when I tried the N8 in a store.
IMO the best thing Nokia can do now is quickly adopt Android and dump Symbian ^3. Although that maybe too late. EDIT:- Then again Nokia might well start doing Windows Phone 7 handsets. I have an iPhone 4 and I have been trying to find an Android phone with the right specs and the right size for me. Not been able to yet. HTC makes crap cameras, Samsung has either crap battery time or too big phones, while LG just makes too big phones.
They don't fit in my pocket. I did however buy a used N8 and it fits, is fast enough and has a good camera. Unfortunately it runs Symbian which is not that great if you ask me. If this camera could run either Android or WP7 it would be very interesting indeed.
